Elis, 32, has nurtured their interest in J-fashion for over 20 years. Their favorite styles are Lolita, Otome, and fairy/pop-kei. With a strong passion for environmental and social sustainability, they curate a small wardrobe where each piece gets the love it deserves. Outside the J-fashion community, you might spot them on stage or volunteering at queer clubs.

Jessica is 31 years old and lives in the Norrtälje area. Her interest in Japanese popular culture began when she was around 12-13 years old. Initially, it was Visual Kei that caught her attention. Her interest then grew to J-fashion, and today, she mainly dresses in Gothic Lolita. Besides being seen at meets in Stockholm, Jessica enjoys sewing and crocheting. In addition to her J-fashion interest, she has a great passion for video games.

Matilda, 38, lives in Umeå/Stockholm. She's been into Japanese pop culture for a while and dressing in J-fashion since 2018. Her favorite styles in EGL are sweet, classic, and hime.

Commissioner - Lina
Lina has always had a keen interest in Japanese fashion and design, which grew even stronger during her time in Tokyo studying Japanese. It was there she discovered a whole new world of style that truly resonated with her. She was drawn to stores like Hardys, PAD Mexico, and Virgin Mary - all with a playful and personal style that really stood out.
Lina enjoys experimenting with different styles, but it was in Japan where she truly found her niche - a mix of sheer layers, lace, pastels, and vintage nightgowns, often paired with knits or chunky shoes. She is inspired by Japanese designers like Keisuke Kanda, Mikio Sakabe, Jenny Fax, HeiHei, and Rurumu - all with a style that blends the cute with the slightly quirky and strong.
For Lina, language and style often go hand in hand. She appreciates how Japanese can convey a lot with few words - it feels poetic and honest. A bit like the fashion she's drawn to: beautiful, but not perfect.
