CODE OF CONDUCT for members of J-Fashion Sverige

J-fashion Sverige aims to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all our members. To ensure that everyone has a positive experience, members are expected to act in accordance with the following rules.

BEHAVIOUR

  • Members should treat each other with a friendly and respectful tone.

  • Harassment, stalking or bullying is not tolerated.

  • The sharing of images or videos to public social media or similar without consent is not tolerated.

  • Members should respect each other’s personal space. Do not touch any person, clothing and belongings included, without their explicit consent.

  • Taking pictures and videos of other members without their consent is not allowed. 


EVENTS

  • Members should behave respectfully in the event venue. Do not excessively block corridors, doorways or otherwise impede any kind of traffic. Do not damage venue equipment or furnishings.

  • There is a zero-tolerance policy on use of illegal substances at any event.

  • A strike system is in place for events requiring advance reservations. Unless illness or other sufficient reason is presented, repeated no-shows will lead to the member being barred from signing up to such events during the year.


DRESS CODE

The association strongly encourages members to wear J-fashion clothing at events. If it is not a requirement, this will be specified in the event description. J-fashion includes, but is not limited to, Lolita, Ouji, Gyaru, Fairy Kei, Jirai Kei, etc. Some events will have a specific, enforced dress code. All members are expected to follow the below rules:

  • J-fashion Sverige is a fashion-specific association and not for general subculture. Therefore, cosplay is not deemed to follow dress code at events hosted by the association.

  • Do not wear clothing or accessories with sexually explicit images or functions. Clothes and accessories which may be part of outfits, such as chokers and harnesses, are allowed.

  • Do not wear clothing or accessories with upsetting content, e.g. self-harm or violence.

  • Do not wear clothing or accessories with inciting messages, hate speech or hate symbols.

  • Replica weapons or objects that resemble realistic weapons are not allowed during events hosted by the association.


AGE RESTRICTIONS

J-fashion Sverige is open for all ages. However, minors (under age 18) must have caretaker consent to join the group as well as participate in the events.

J-fashion Sverige is not responsible for the caretaking of minors during events.

Occasional events will have higher age limits, which will be presented in the information for the event.
